Co-curricular Activities

Games & Sports

The school provides facilities for physical training. In addition to in-door games like Chess, Table Tennis and Badminton, out-door games like Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho and Boxing etc.are also provided.

House System

The students are divided into four Houses:

Gandhi
Pratap
Raman
Tagore

Each House of the Senior and the Junior section is under a House Master/House Mistress along with other teachers as House Tutors.The House system generates organisation, discipline and growth through healthy competition and co-operative team work. Inter house competitions are organised in sports, games, cultural and other co-curricular activities.

NCC (National Cadet Corps)

The School has Junior Division NCC Air Wings for boys and Junior Division NCC Army Wings for girls. Apart from the normal NCC activities like parades and drills, the cadets are taken for gliding, para-sailing and aeromodelling. The Cadets also take active part in social work like tree plantation, removal of weeds from the lakes and various camps at state and national level are also held for the NCC cadets every Year.

School Newsletter and Magazine

The School News letter 'Darpan' and the School Magazine provide a platform to tap the creativity of the students. The students are given an opportunity to develop their power of imagination and original thinking. This definitely adds a new dimension to their personality and they gain in confidence.

Students Council

The school has a group of devoted student office-bearers appointed by the Principal and staff to inculcate leadership qualities and accountability in order to maintain a cohesive and happy ambience in the School.

Trips & Excursions

The school organises educational trips & excursions with the purpose of fostering team spirit, harmony and generating interest in nature and rich heritage and culture.
